Bouvet had operating revenues of NOK 676 million for the second quarter of 2021, compared with NOK 596.1 million in the same period of last year. Operating profit (EBIT) came to NOK 83.8 million, compared with NOK 85.2 million in the second quarter of 2020.
For the first six months Bouvet had operating revenues of NOK 1 371.9 million, compared with NOK 1 237.3 million in the same period last year. For the same period, the operating profit ended at NOK 174.6 million, compared with NOK 167.8 million in the same period of 2020.
“We continued our positive progress during the quarter, and can once again look back on three months of solid growth in turnover, a continued high level of profitability, and the recruitment of many new Bouveteers to the team. Bouvet’s operating costs, including depreciation, came to NOK 592.2 million for the second quarter, compared with NOK 510.9 million in the same period of 2020. That represents an increase of 15.9 per cent.
The EBIT margin for the second quarter was 12.4 per cent, up from 14.3 per cent in the second quarter last year. Net profit came to NOK 64.5 million, compared with NOK 65.5 million for the second quarter of 2020. Diluted earnings per share were NOK 0.62 for the quarter, compared with NOK 0.63 in the same period of last year.
