About AVEVA

AVEVA is a leading global software company specializing in systems for industrial engineering, design, and information management. Their software, AVEVA™ E3D Design, is used, among other things, to develop advanced 3D models for process plants, ships, and industrial plants.

Bouvet, is a Norwegian owned consultancy that assists other companies in developing efficient and user oriented solutions within technology, consulting, design and communication. In the Rogaland region Bouvet has a strong footprint. For many years, Bouvet has closely collaborated with the energy and industrial sectors in the region, which have been loyal users of AVEVA for handling complex 3D models and visualizing process facilities.

Therefore, since 2014, Bouvet has been building a robust competence environment to assist customers with system development, integration, planning, operations, and design within AVEVA.

Our broad competence base uniquely positions us to support our customers, which is why it was natural for us to enter into a partnership with AVEVA.

Investing in local partnerships

AVEVA has experienced significant growth over the past 10 years and has found that investing in partnerships with actors closely connected to customers yields excellent results internationally. Now, they aim to replicate this success within the field of engineering in Norway, with Bouvet as their first partner.

This partnership will contribute to strengthening AVEVA’s presence and solutions in the Norwegian market, according to David Blažek, Director of Global Sales Channels - Engineering at AVEVA, and Brian Hughes, Vice President of Portfolio for Engineering at AVEVA. Recently, they visited Bouvet in Stavanger for a seminar alongside Bouvet and customers from the energy sector.

David Blažek emphasizes that local partners, like Bouvet, are crucial for expanding resources and the ability to serve customers effectively. Our partners operate in the market, understand customer needs, and speak their language. Brian Hughes adds that reliable partners like Bouvet ensure correct software implementation, timely delivery, and quality.

Investing in Competence Building

The partnership will also benefit Bouvet’s employees by opening up opportunities for training and certification. Bouvet’s team in Rogaland, which already has expertise in AVEVA E3D Design, can now further develop and build competence in several products within AVEVA’s portfolio. AVEVA’s engineering portfolio includes integrated 1D and 2D design tools which allow greater efficiency for multi-discipline users,

In Rogaland, Bouvet has a large competence environment within 3D and visualization that uses Aveva's tools. Here are four of our colleagues at Bouvets seminar to hear the latest news about AVEVA.

Both Bouvet and AVEVA look forward to closer collaboration in the future and the possibilities this partnership can bring for mutual customers on their journey toward digital transformation, and the development of tomorrow’s society.

Silje Mari Berggraf Knudsen, who leads the unit working closely with AVEVA E3D, expresses enthusiasm for the partnership: –The new partnership with AVEVA will open doors and create new opportunities for applications we develop alongside our existing customers and the services we can offer new customers.

David Blažek from AVEVA shares this enthusiasm and looks forward to the collaboration. He emphasizes that the partnership with such an experienced and powerful team will enhance benefits of using AVEVA industrial SW and improve quality of services provided to our customers. Brian Hughes adds that this partnership can also contribute in the making of a sustainable future:

– We find us self in a unique era. The oil and gas industry will gradually decline, and Norway has been heavily dependent on this sector. However, we now see that customers here are diversifying their portfolios by including renewable energy sources such as wind, solar power, clean hydrogen, and carbon storage. By leveraging our tools and Bouvet’s expertise, we can support customers on their journey toward a more sustainable future. This development offers significant opportunities for all involved parties, and we look forward to what lies ahead,” concludes Brian Hughes.

This strategic collaboration between AVEVA and Bouvet holds great promise for advancing engineering solutions and driving innovation in the field of system integration.
